Walk-In X-rays
- No appointment is needed at most WCMI clinics. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before closing. Our Uptown clinic in Saanich requires appointments Monday to Friday and offers walk-in X-rays on Saturdays.
Ultrasound Appointments
- Book your ultrasound online at a time and location that works for you. If your exam or preferred appointment time isn’t available, you can submit an appointment request.
- You can also call central booking or fax your requisition.
- Please let us know when booking if you would prefer a female technologist; we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Breast Imaging
- Request an appointment for diagnostic mammography, screening mammography, or other available breast imaging services.
- Screening: Fort Street Breast Imaging, 1990 Fort St #305, Victoria · 250-952-4232.
- Diagnostic: East Broadway (Vancouver) and Scott Road (Surrey).
- Coming soon: Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) at Hornby, 1156 Hornby Street, Vancouver — November 2026.
What to bring
- Your requisition — we accept requisitions from any facility.
- A valid health card — MSP-covered services are covered.
- Arrive 15 minutes early for appointments.
- Low-scent clinic — please skip perfume.
- Children can't join the exam or wait unattended in the waiting room — arrange child care.
Need to Cancel or Reschedule?
- Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to change your appointment. A $75 fee may apply to missed appointments.
- Late arrivals may need to be rescheduled.
